Pum'Awards 2024: a look back at the awards ceremony!

The Pum'Awards 2024 - Rennes SB Alumni awards ceremony took place on 17 September on the Rennes School of Business campus to reward 5 entrepreneurial and community projects led by our alumni, as well as three alumni particularly involved in the network. Discover the aftermovie of the event :

 

Here are the names of this year's winners in the 3 categories:

Entrepreneur category :

  • Neoca - 60% of cyclists do not wear a helmet for one main reason: aesthetics. How can we make wearing a cycle helmet less restrictive? NEOCA has developed the first approved bicycle helmet with a removable textile cover that looks like a cap or bonnet and can be worn as a fashion accessory.

Project headed by Romane Le Scour (MSc IE 2023)

  • Medisport - revolutionises injury risk management by providing a proactive, personalised, athlete-centric approach. Thanks to its innovative application, it offers two dedicated interfaces - coach and player - for better prevention, communication and shared progress.

Project headed by Victor LECUELLE (PGE 31)

  • Sunu Green Fodder - provides a sustainable solution to feed shortages in West Africa through the production and distribution of Panicum Maximum, a high quality livestock feed. Their aim is to strengthen food security, improve animal nutrition and stimulate local agricultural economies.

Project headed by Rémy BELL (MSc IE 2023)

 

Association category :

  • From Idea ToFrom Idea To is a Rennes-based association that democratises entrepreneurship for everyone, regardless of background. By promoting social innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, they help everyone to create, innovate and have a positive impact. Through fun events and encounters with volunteer professionals, they make entrepreneurship accessible and engaging for everyone.

Project headed by Lauryne EBONGUE (PGE 32)

 

  • Les Ami-e-s de Kaggwa  - is supporting the reception centre in Kaggwa, Uganda, to ensure its autonomy and long-term impact. The centre, which operates without government support, has been providing access to education and support for orphaned and vulnerable children in the village of Kaitabawala for almost 30 years. Focusing on education, care and self-sufficiency projects, it aims to improve the lives of young people while developing creative and agricultural initiatives.

Winners receive financial support of €2,500 each!

 

Pum'rewards category:

  • Volunteers - Club leaders who organized the most events during the year

Winners : Club Lyon with Anais GRZESZNIK (PGE 24)

  • Career: The alumni with the most job offers on our career space

Winner: Alexie LENTO (PGE 22) - LYRECO

  • Events: The alumni who participated in the greatest number of events during the year

Winner: Vincent Mallah (PGE 32)

The winners each receive a larger budget for their events, a higher profile for their company, and a year's worth of free events!
